A-1 Driveway Replacement Company was founded by Dave Scott, a lifelong resident of Dekalb County, GA, and a 35-year resident of the community of Tucker, GA. He began his career in 1974 working primarily for builders and general contractors, preparing footings, foundations, slabs, retaining walls, and installing new driveways.

In the early 1990s, he identified an underserved niche in the concrete industry: homeowners in need of driveway repair/replacement and other concrete-related work. In 1997, to serve this market, he founded A-1 Driveway Replacement Company in Tucker, GA.

Since its founding, A-1 Driveway has installed over 7,000 driveways in the Greater Atlanta area. These projects have included driveway replacements (entire or partial), driveway expansions and additions, and even completely redesigned driveways… Yes, we can implement your custom design for a new driveway!

In addition to driveway removals and replacements, we also install sidewalks, walkways, patios, building slabs, and retaining walls. We have extensive experience with decorative concrete placements: working with colored concrete or concrete stains; stamping concrete in a variety of patterns, or installing brick or stone inlays for the border, band, and apron accents.

In April 2013, we at A-1 Driveway Replacement Company were pleased to announce the expansion of our service area to Hall and Forsyth Counties.
